“Bengaluru does not attend concerts. Bengaluru commutes to them, and that is the part nobody sells you a ticket for.”
• Me, after three hours in a NICE Road exit queue
Guns N' Roses are playing Bengaluru on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at NICE Grounds, and I have already blocked the whole day out. Not the evening. The day. If you have ever tried to leave a 50,000-person concert on Tumkur Road at half past eleven at night, you know exactly why.
I have lived in this city since 1991, which means I remember the December 2012 tour when the band first came to India and played Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi. I remember the arguments about whether Axl Rose would show up on time. I remember friends who took a whole Monday off to recover. Then came the long gap of more than twelve years, the standalone Mumbai show in May 2025 with Girish and The Chronicles opening, and now they are back for two nights in India: Bengaluru on November 14 and Guwahati on November 17.
This guide is the version of the information I wish somebody had handed me before every big NICE Grounds show I have been to. It covers what the tickets actually cost, how the M-tickets work, which metro station to aim for, when to leave home, what the ground is like once you are inside, and the single most underrated skill at any Bengaluru concert, which is getting home.
Fair warning on one thing. Anything the organisers have not officially announced yet, such as exact gate timings, the opening act and the prohibited items list, I have flagged as pending rather than guessed. Everything else below is what has been confirmed publicly, and I will keep this page updated as more details land.
Quick Information
For the friend who says "just tell me the important bits" and then asks nine follow-up questions anyway. Here is the whole concert in one glance.
When and Where Is the Guns N' Roses Bengaluru Concert?
It is on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at NICE Grounds in Bengaluru, produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live. A Saturday is the kindest possible outcome here. Nobody has to file leave, nobody has to explain a 2 AM arrival to a manager on Monday, and the city's traffic is at least not carrying an office peak on top of a concert crowd.
NICE Grounds sits on the northwest edge of the city near BIEC on Tumkur Road, which is important context if you live in Koramangala, HSR or Whitefield. This is not a fifteen minute ride. It is a proper cross city journey, and on NICE Road from Electronic City it is roughly a forty minute drive when the road is behaving. On concert evening, the road will not be behaving.
The ground itself is a huge open air venue that has handled Diljit Dosanjh, Sunburn, Ed Sheeran and a long list of festival crowds. Practically, that means the space is genuinely big enough, the sightlines from the middle of the field are decent, and the infrastructure is temporary but functional: food stalls, portable toilets, water points and first aid tents all get put up for the night.
The concert is on Tumkur Road, not in south or east Bengaluru. Plan your travel as if you are heading out of the city rather than across it, and your evening will go significantly better.
How Much Do Guns N' Roses Bengaluru Tickets Cost?
Bengaluru tickets start at Rs 4,500 for Silver, Gold is Rs 10,000, and the Platinum Lounge is Rs 16,000. Those are the phase one numbers from the general sale, which went live on June 9, 2026, at 11 AM IST on BookMyShow, after early access for Nightrain fan club members. Phase pricing means exactly what you fear it means: as each phase sells out, the next one costs more, so the Rs 4,500 you saw on a screenshot in June is not necessarily the Rs 4,500 available today.
For comparison, the Guwahati show on November 17 starts at Rs 3,000, with Gold at Rs 7,000 and Platinum Lounge at Rs 14,000. If you have flexible travel plans and family in the northeast, that maths is worth a second look.
- Silver, from Rs 4,500. The big general zone. You are in the crowd, you are on your feet all night, and you will hear every note. Get there early if you care about how far forward you stand.
- Gold, Rs 10,000. Closer to the stage with a smaller crowd around you. The sweet spot if you want to actually see Slash's hands rather than a screen.
- Platinum Lounge, Rs 16,000. The premium experience with lounge access. Worth it if shorter queues and elbow room matter more to you than the money.
- Booking limit. A single user can add a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction, so large groups need to split bookings.
One more thing on availability. Some zones for this tour reportedly sold out within an hour of the general sale opening, and the Mumbai 2025 show sold out quickly too. If you are still deciding, decide faster than you normally would.
Where Should I Buy Tickets, and What About Resale Sites?
Buy on BookMyShow and nowhere else. Booking for this show is hosted exclusively online and tickets are not being sold through third party outlets, specifically to keep scalpers and fake passes out. Every concert season in this city produces the same sad story on Reddit: someone paid for a screenshot of a QR code and got turned away at the gate.
Search for Guns N' Roses: India 2026 Bengaluru on BookMyShow, pick your zone, pick your quantity, and finish the digital verification. That is the whole process. There is no physical ticket to collect, no courier to wait for, and no box office to visit on show day.
How Do the M-Tickets Work on Show Day?
Your entry pass lives inside the BookMyShow app, and the active entry QR code only becomes visible in your Purchase History exactly 48 hours before gates open. This trips people up every single time, so let me say it plainly: if you open the app in October and cannot find a QR code, nothing has gone wrong. It is not there yet.
- No physical delivery. The pass is entirely in the app, with anti screenshot protection on the entry QR.
- 48 hour window. The scannable QR appears two days before the show. Check then, not the morning of.
- Group transfers. You can transfer individual M-tickets to your friends' apps, and transfers stay open until 6 PM on November 14.
- Battery is your ticket. No charge, no QR, no entry. Carry a power bank and keep some screen brightness in reserve.
If you booked for the group, send everybody their M-ticket before 6 PM on show day. After that cutoff you become the single point of failure for four friends standing in four different queues.
How Do I Get to NICE Grounds Without Losing My Mind?
Take the metro to Madavara on the Green Line and walk. This is the answer for almost everyone, and it is not close. Madavara is the northwestern terminus of the Green Line, it is a short walk from the venue, and it lets you skip the part of the evening where 5,000 cars try to use the same two exits.
If you are coming from the south of the city, the Green Line runs all the way from Silk Institute through Majestic and up to Madavara, so a single line does the whole job. From the east, ride the Purple Line to Majestic, change once, and continue north. Yes, Majestic at 6 PM is its own kind of experience. It is still faster than the road.
- By metro. Green Line to Madavara. Buy a return trip or top up your card on the way in so you are not queueing at a ticket machine at midnight with 20,000 other people.
- By car. There is large open parking at the ground, and NICE Road from the south side is the smoother approach. Expect the exit to take up to an hour once the show ends.
- Park and ride. Paid parking near Madavara metro is a genuinely clever hack. Leave the car there, take the last leg on foot or by metro, and drive home from a lot that is not gridlocked.
- By cab. Fine on the way in, brutal on the way out. Surge pricing at NICE Grounds after a headline act is a study in human desperation.
- By bike. Two wheelers get out fastest by a wide margin. Just remember it is November and the ride back at midnight is colder than you think.
What Time Should I Reach the Venue?
Aim to be at the gate at least ninety minutes before the doors time on your ticket, and earlier if you are in Silver and care about your spot. Regulars at NICE Grounds shows suggest arriving at least an hour early because the queues stack up fast, and this is Guns N' Roses, not a Tuesday night gig at a pub. Event listings show a 5 PM start for November 14, but treat your BookMyShow booking and the official event page as the source of truth for gate times.
My own plan, for whatever it is worth: leave home by 3 PM, be near the venue by 5 PM, eat something proper before I go in, and be inside with time to spare. I have never once regretted being early at a big show. I have very much regretted being late.
“Nobody at a concert has ever said they wish they had arrived later.”
• Every person who has queued at a NICE Grounds gate
What Can I Carry Into the Concert?
The official prohibited items list for this show had not been published at the time of writing, so check the BookMyShow event page before you pack. That said, large open air concerts in India are fairly consistent about what they turn away, and the pattern is easy to plan around.
- Almost always fine. Phone, power bank, small wallet, ID, an empty or sealed water bottle depending on venue policy, a light jacket.
- Almost always refused. Professional cameras with detachable lenses, outside food and drink, aerosols, umbrellas, anything sharp, and anything that looks like it could become a projectile.
- Carry ID. Age checks apply at any bar counter inside, and an ID makes every interaction with security shorter.
- Travel light. There is usually no cloakroom worth relying on. If you would hate to lose it or hold it for four hours, leave it at home.
What Songs Will Guns N' Roses Play in Bengaluru?
Expect the big ones plus new material, across a set that ran close to three hours in Mumbai in 2025. That night the band moved through decades of catalogue including November Rain, Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child O' Mine and their version of Bob Dylan's Knockin' On Heaven's Door. It was, by every account I heard from friends who went, a complete nostalgia trip.
The difference this time is that the band has released two new singles, Nothin' and Atlas, their first original recordings since 2023. The two tracks pull in different directions, one built on driving rock urgency and the other on keyboards and more introspective guitar work, so there is a real chance you hear something in Bengaluru that has never been played live in this country before.
Setlists are the band's call, not the promoter's, and they change from city to city. Go in wanting the show rather than one specific song and you will have a much better night.
What Is the Food and Drink Situation Inside?
There will be plenty of stalls, and they will be expensive and slow, which is exactly what you should plan around. Big NICE Grounds events run a wide spread of food and beverage counters, and by the time the headline act starts, every queue is long. My rule is simple. Eat a real meal before I enter, then treat anything inside as a bonus rather than dinner.
Tumkur Road and the Peenya to Nelamangala stretch have a reasonable spread of restaurants and darshinis if you are coming early, and there is a large mall and retail cluster in the same broad direction. Do the eating on the outside, keep the drinking sensible on the inside, and hydrate more than you think you need to. Standing in an open field for four hours and singing along is more physical work than it sounds.
What Should I Wear for a November Night at NICE Grounds?
Closed shoes you can stand in for five hours, and one layer more than Bengaluru daytime suggests. November here is the beginning of our genuinely pleasant weather, warm enough at 5 PM to fool you and cool enough at midnight to make you regret the T shirt only decision. An open ground with a breeze does the rest.
- Shoes over sandals. The ground gets dusty and crowded, and toes get stepped on. This is not a chappal evening.
- A light jacket or overshirt. Easy to tie around your waist, worth its weight at midnight.
- Pockets that zip. Phones go missing in dense crowds, and yours is also your ticket home.
- Skip the fresh white sneakers. You will not recognise them by the encore.
How Do I Get Home After the Concert Ends?
Decide your exit plan before you enter the venue, because 45,000 people will be making that decision simultaneously at midnight. Parking exits at NICE Grounds have been known to take an hour or more after major shows, and that is considered normal rather than a disaster. Cab surge will be at its most creative. This is the part of the night that separates a great memory from a grim one.
- Metro, but check the last train. Namma Metro sometimes extends services for large events. If an extension is announced for November 14, this becomes the best exit in the city. If it is not, know your last train time before you go in.
- Wait it out. Staying inside for twenty minutes after the last song, letting the first wave clear, then walking out is often faster than joining the surge.
- Walk to a pickup point. Ten minutes of walking away from the venue can cut your cab fare and your wait dramatically.
- Split the group. Five people trying to agree on an exit strategy at midnight in a crowd is how you all end up standing in the same spot for an hour.
Is the Guns N' Roses Bengaluru Show Worth the Money?
For anyone who grew up with this band, yes, and I say that as somebody who is usually the first to complain about Indian concert pricing. This is the third time Guns N' Roses have come to India in fourteen years, the original core of Axl, Slash and Duff is on stage together, and the last India show ran nearly three hours. Rs 4,500 for that is not a bargain, but it is defensible.
Where I would think twice is the top tier. The Platinum Lounge at Rs 16,000 buys comfort and shorter queues rather than a different concert. If your budget is tight and you are choosing between Platinum for one person and Gold for two, take the company. Bengaluru concerts are better shared, mostly because someone has to hold your phone while you attempt the Sweet Child O' Mine intro on air guitar.
