NICE Grounds after dark, where Bengaluru has learned to hold its biggest shows.

“Two nights, in the one month of the year when this city is at its absolute best.”

• Me, having already cleared the weekend

Fred again.. plays NICE Grounds in Bengaluru on Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13, 2026. It is his India debut tour, the run also takes in Delhi NCR and Mumbai, and these are his only confirmed live shows of 2026, which is the detail that turns a nice-to-have into a decision.

Two nights in one city is not normal for a debut. Delhi NCR gets December 5 at Leisure Valley Ground and Mumbai gets December 8 and 9 at Mahalaxmi Race Course. The original Bengaluru date was the Sunday, and the Saturday was added after the first shows sold out, which tells you something about how the promoters read this audience. Sunday crowds at NICE Grounds are consistently the better experience, but the Sunday is the night that sold out, so check the Saturday first.

I have spent enough nights at NICE Grounds to know that the show is the easy part. The hard part is the last four kilometres in and the first hour out. So this guide is split honestly: what is confirmed about the shows, and then the logistics that actually decide whether you enjoy your night.

When Is Fred Again.. Playing in Bengaluru?

December 12 and 13, 2026, both at NICE Grounds. A Saturday and a Sunday, back to back, which is the friendliest possible pair of dates for a city that works a long week.

If you have a choice, I would take the Sunday. Saturday will be the bigger, louder, more crowded night, and there is a case for that. But Sunday at a two night stand is where the artist is looser, the queues are shorter, the bar service is faster and the crowd is made of people who chose the awkward night on purpose. That crowd is always better.

IF YOU CAN ONLY DO ONE

Sunday, December 13, and take Monday morning off. The show will run late, the drive back is long, and no set is worth spending a Monday as a ghost.

How Much Are Tickets and Where Do I Buy Them?

The tour has been announced with three categories: a student general admission tier at around Rs 1,750, standard general admission at around Rs 3,500, and a GA+ tier at around Rs 6,000. Tickets are sold through BookMyShow, which is where essentially every international tour in India lives.

The pricing genuinely surprised me. A student GA under two thousand rupees for an artist of this size is not what this market has trained us to expect over the past two years, and it is the reason I would tell any student reading this to sort it out today rather than next month.

  • Student GA, around Rs 1,750. Requires a valid student ID at the gate. Do not buy this tier and turn up with a screenshot of your ID card.
  • Standard GA, around Rs 3,500. The default. Same field, same sound, further from the barricade if you arrive late.
  • GA+, around Rs 6,000. Better positioning and shorter queues. Worth it if you value the first fifteen metres and hate lines.
  • Buy from BookMyShow only. Resale for these tours is a mess of screenshots and cancelled bookings. If a deal is coming from a stranger on Instagram, it is not a deal.

Prices and tiers can shift as a tour fills up, so treat the numbers above as the announced structure and confirm on the listing before you pay.

Is There an Age Limit for the Bengaluru Shows?

Yes. Entry is strictly 18 and above, and you should carry photo ID. This gets enforced properly at NICE Grounds shows, and being turned away at a gate that far out of the city is a spectacularly bad end to an evening.

Carry a hard copy or a digital government issued ID, and if you have bought a student ticket, carry your college ID as well. Two documents, one pocket, no argument at the gate.

How Do I Get to NICE Grounds?

Metro as far as it takes you, then a cab, and leave earlier than feels reasonable. NICE Grounds sits off the NICE Road on the south west edge of the city, which means the last stretch is road only and every single attendee is on it at the same time.

  • Metro plus cab. Ride the Green Line south as far as you sensibly can, then book a cab for the last leg. Cheaper and calmer than driving the whole way in show traffic.
  • Driving. Viable if you leave by mid afternoon. Parking exists but fills, and the exit queue after the show is the part nobody accounts for.
  • Carpool. The best answer at NICE Grounds. Four people, one car, one designated driver who is genuinely not drinking.
  • Cabs on the way out. Surge pricing at 1 AM on the NICE Road is a special kind of number. Book before the encore or walk fifteen minutes away from the gate before you open the app.
  • Shuttles. Large NICE Grounds shows sometimes run organised shuttles from central pickup points. If the promoter announces one, take it. It is always the least painful option.
THE 1 AM PROBLEM

Twenty thousand people leave a field at the same time, on one road, in a place with no metro. Whatever your plan is, make it before the set ends. This is the single biggest difference between a great night and a bitter one.

What Should I Expect From the Show Itself?

Expect a live set built in front of you rather than a DJ playing records. That is the whole appeal of Fred again.. as a performer: loops and vocal samples assembled on stage, with the sort of crowd-facing energy that has made his festival sets the ones people send each other links to at 2 AM.

In practice that means a set with real dynamics, long builds and moments where twenty thousand people sing a sampled voice note back at the stage. It also means the last third is the part you came for, so do not spend your legs in the first hour.

“Pace yourself for the last forty minutes. Everyone who peaks early spends the encore sitting on the grass looking at their phone.”

• Hard won advice from every large show I have been to at NICE Grounds

What Should I Carry, and What Will Not Get In?

Travel light: ID, phone, a card, a light jacket and nothing else you would mind losing. December evenings in Bengaluru drop to a genuinely cool fifteen degrees or so once the sun is gone, and a field on the city's edge is colder than the same hour downtown.

  • ID, always. Government photo ID for the age check, student ID if you bought that tier.
  • A light jacket. You will not want it at 9 PM. You will want it badly at midnight.
  • Shoes you can stand in for five hours. Closed and comfortable. The ground is uneven and you will be on your feet the whole time.
  • A power bank. Your phone will die exactly when you need to find your friends or book a cab. Every time.
  • Leave the bag behind. Large bags, professional cameras and outside drinks are typically refused. Check the listing's prohibited items before you pack anything.

What Else Is on in Bengaluru That Month?

December is the busiest month of the year here, and this show sits in the middle of a very strong fortnight. The Bangalore Literature Festival runs December 11 to 13, free and open to all, which means you can genuinely do a book festival by day and a dance set by night on the same Saturday. The Chainsmokers play the city on December 20, and the New Year's Eve programme starts appearing shortly after.

If you are flying in, this is the right month to add days. Fifteen to twenty five degrees, clear evenings, and a city that is at its most pleasant precisely when everyone else's is not.

Fred Again.. Bengaluru 2026: Frequently Asked Questions

When is Fred again.. performing in Bengaluru?

On Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13, 2026, at NICE Grounds. Both nights are part of his India debut tour.

Where can I buy tickets?

Through BookMyShow, which handles ticketing for most international tours in India. Avoid resale.

How much do tickets cost?

The announced categories are a student general admission tier at around Rs 1,750, standard general admission at around Rs 3,500 and GA+ at around Rs 6,000.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes, entry is strictly 18 and above. Carry government issued photo ID, and a student ID as well if you bought the student tier.

Which other Indian cities are on the tour?

Delhi NCR on December 5 at Leisure Valley Ground, and Mumbai. Bengaluru is the only city with two nights.

Are these his only shows of 2026?

These are his only confirmed live shows of 2026, which is a large part of why the tour has drawn the attention it has.

How do I get to NICE Grounds?

Take the metro as far south as is practical and cab the last stretch, or drive and arrive by mid afternoon. The venue is off the NICE Road on the city's south west edge with no rail access.

What is the best way to get home after the show?

Arrange it before the set ends. Carpool, a pre booked cab, or an official shuttle if the promoter runs one. Cab surge on the NICE Road after midnight is severe.

Which night should I pick?

Sunday, December 13, if you can take the Monday morning slowly. Smaller crowd, shorter queues and usually the looser set.

What should I carry?

Photo ID, phone, a card, a power bank, a light jacket for the cool December night, and comfortable closed shoes. Leave large bags at home.

What kind of set does he play?

A live electronic set built on stage from loops and vocal samples rather than a straight DJ set, with long builds and a heavy last third.
