About Ravindra Kalakshetra

Ravindra Kalakshetra is a cultural auditorium on JC Road, near Town Hall, opened on 9 March 1963 to mark Rabindranath Tagore's birth centenary.

It seats about 900, including around 400 in the balcony, and hosts Kannada theatre, dance recitals and music concerts. The open-air Samsa Bayalu Rangamandira is next door.
